In the context of Avio, the research work is part of the technical scenario aimed at maintaining competitive performance to a level summit. Avio intends to concentrate its efforts on two main areas:

• greater involvement in technology programs (Italians and Europeans) to understand, create and clearly assess the possible evolution of the competitive landscape and can seize on the basis of excellence;
• greater competences control, in terms of knowledge, level and quality;
• completeness and storage management tools of knowledge;

All these factors require a strong development of a network of technical cooperation, involving universities, research centres and qualified suppliers.

Mission

The R & D activities in Avio aims mainly to:

• study the feasibility of new products, in accordance with the requirements of customers, in collaboration with the Company Business Units;
• guarantee the technological excellence;
• collect and develop knowledge in the field of corporate design experience.
