Aster is a family of surface-to-air anti-aircraft and anti-missile missiles constructed by Eurosam, the European Consortium composed of MBDA Italy, MBDA France and Thales.
The family has two variants: Aster 15 and Aster 30. The guidance system uses an electronic system. The Aster missiles are designed to be used by both naval units and land launchers.
