The Vega launcher Operating Database (VODB) is an application to track launcher data, grouped in four main areas (Space System Model - SSM, Bus 1553, Telemetry and Harness). It is reconfigurable depending on the test or type of mission.
The system was designed to ensure the integrity and consistency of data throughout the development phase, the process of importing data from sub-contractors and that of exporting data for launcher tests. The VODB will also be used during the mission itself, providing useful information for processing the launcher’s telemetry.
The VODB’s structure is modular and can be configured for use in different tests.
The data is uploaded and managed through dedicated customer applications, and the VODB is able to generate reports for each type of data set on request.
