The Vega launcher Electric Simulator (VES) is a reconfigurable element of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
The system was designed to support the testing of the Vega launcher during its launch site integration and pre-flight preparation.
The VES test configuration can be easily adapted using the console operator through software and a wiring adapter that provides hardware reconfiguration.
Using different test configurations it is also possible to simulate operational errors through commands sent by the operator.
