The system transfers the power from driving shaft to the propeller of the aircraft or from the engine to the helicopter's main and tail rotor.
The Avio experience in power transmission development goes back to the '60s and, since then, the Company always invested in research and development of new products to maintain its own technological leadership in this branch.
Avio developed, through specific technological programs, systems of advanced gears which allowed to share in innovative applications with very high power density (A400M and Gear Turbo Fan).
