    T700-Turboshaft family

    The T700 turboshaft versions comprise the T700-401/701(C/D) and recent new applications derived from the T700-701D, namely the T700-701K (“K” = Korea), the CT7-2E1 (AW149 – with final customer Agusta) and the T700-701E.

    Avio deals with production of parts of the low-pressure turbine, and is responsible for the production and overhaul of the accessory drive train.

    Low-Pressure Turbine

    Avio is responsible for the production of:

    • Fourth-stage nozzle and seal
    • Third- and fourth-stage blade
    Accessory Drive Train

    Avio is responsible for the production and overhaul of the accessory drive train of the T700 engine family, on all versions. In fact, Avio deals with the procurement of several parts (gears, bearings, seals), on their manufacture (housing, adapter) and on assembly in order to deliver a ready-to-use product to the customer.

    The accessory drive train includes the input gearbox, which transfers torque from the HP engine shaft to the gearbox of the vertical transmission shaft accessories, which connects the input Gearbox to the Accessory Gearbox, which is supported on the upper side of the external compressor casing and drives six accessories.
