The auxiliary power unit ARGO–FA 150 is a modular engine with a twin-shaft turbine, designed and developed by Avio for the generation of compressed air for starting (MODO SPU) the SPEY MK 807 Turbofan engine that equips the AM-X aircraft.
The ARGO also provides the AM-X with compressed air for the aircraft cabin conditioning system and, through a generator, the alternate current for the functioning of the on-board instrumentation (MODO APU).
