The LM2500+G4 is the latest of the LM aeroderivative turbine family, produced for marine and industrial applications. To date, models produced have accumulated more than 40 million hours of service, with an average reliability of 99.6%.
The LM2500 gas turbine has benefited over the years from continued improvement. Today, the LM2500+G4 version offers an installed power of 32 MW.
Avio's share in this programme is 9%. Recently, Avio acquired a supply contract relative to the FREMM Programme (Italy-France) for the construction of 27 Frigates, on which the LM2500+G4 propulsion system is installed.
