Master 900 is Avio's turbine control system for electric power plants. The Turbine Control System (TCS) Governor was developed for heavy-duty and aeroderivative gas turbines.
The TCS Master 900 is a multiprocessor control system designed with fault-tolerant architecture so that, in the case of a single failure, reliability and safety are not compromised. To secure the latter, the functions are implemented in 2 out of 3 logic (with sensors, I/O electronic cards and double CPU). The regulation loops and the sequences are achieved with Master/Slave hot stand (with sensors, I/O electronic cards and double CPU).
The Master 900 system also includes special final drivers for piloting proportional or integral valves with LVDT or RVDT sensors.
The Master 900 system can be controlled remotely through I/O electronic modules linked to the controllers and the CPU by means of an optical fibre bus.
