    CFM56

CFM International’s CFM56 engine family (Snecma and GE Aviation own 50% of the company each and have been involved in the project for the past 30 years) consists of six models: from the first CFM56-2 to the most recent CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B. With over 500 million flight hours, this is an engine with proven endurance and reliability, powering over 8,000 B737 and A320 aircraft.

Over the years, the CFM56 has undergone technical modifications to improve its efficiency and CO2 and noise emissions.

Avio is responsible for the production of elements of the low-pressure turbine, as well as the inner seal and shroud support for the 5B, 5C and 7B and 7BE.
