Stage

Avio has a reinforced tradition on constructive relationships of cooperation with Universities. With many institutes - among which Polytechnic in Turin, Pisa University, Federico II University in Naples, Univerisity of Rome, "La Sapienza" and "Tor Vergata" - has started and is going to make stronger cooperation programs of different kind:

• Calculation codes common development;
• experimentation activity
• co-planning of "three-years degree" courses by company managers teaching;
• university teaching participation to inner training qualified initiatives ;
• partnership in research activity.

Thanks to these collaboration relationships, Avio and University Institutes offer to the students the opportunity to complete and to enrich their own studies cycle with the attendance in company stages.

Within appropriate conventions, the stages allow to the young people to realize the formative ways provided by ministerial programs: they are the so-called "curricular Stages" finalized to acquisition of formative credits and with an indicative duration of two-three weeks. Next to these ones there are "not curricular" formative trainings, addressed to the students who wish to improve inside the company the theoretical knowledge acquired in academic sphere or who wants to prepare an interesting and stimulating degree thesis for applicative valences made possible by development in Avio. The opportunity to carry out a stage in the company, on a maximum duration of one year, is also offered to the new-graduates that wish to obtain knowledge of technical-organizational type with "on field" experience. In this case, it is necessary a convention agreement between Universities/Polytechnics and Avio, that disciplines the modes of stages development and regulates competence and responsibility spheres. In the company a student is supported by a tutor that has the task to facilitate his integration, as a referent for any problem linked to the stage. We suggest to the students interested in carrying out a stage in Avio to contact through their University or Polytechnic that will provide to forward the convention proposal.

Within the current conventions or with those that can be agreed with University Institutes, Avio offers a stage opportunity to the students (Three-years degree or Specialist Degree) from Faculties of:

• Engineering (Aeronautical /Spatial, Mechanics, Chemistry, Electronic, Managerial);
• Economy;
• Law.

For correct information to the students we underline that:
The English knowledge makes easier the stage development.
The stage isn't an employee relationship so it is unpaid.
The frequency to the stage is neither preparatory to the introduction nor condition for the constitution of an employee relationship with Avio.
