Historical Archive
Avio's Historical Archive, created in 1989 and inaugurated in 1993, keeps important collections of papers, drawings and photographic images which testify about the company's technological evolution and history.
The idea to keep and organize the company documentation was encouraged by the donation of private papers and the library of Ing. Gabrielli by his family.
Later, the decision was made to gather and classify documents, drawings, technical papers and manuals, in order to keep this technical patrimony and the company's historical memory.
In addition, this original collection was subsequently accompanied by other documentary and iconographic foundations, including those of companies not directly involved with aeronautics production, as for example, Grandi Motori or Nebiolo, which have left a trace of their history in this archive.
Here we briefly mention contents, dates and sources of the Avio' historical Archive.
